Amtrak ASEA RC-4 Electric Locomotive #X-995

The Amtrak test electric locomotive is based on the Roco Swedish ASEA RC-4 model with Americanized features. Details added are anticlimbers on pilots, ditch lights (with MV lenses), MU cable connectors, front and side wire grab irons, coupler cut bars, roof-mounted horns, brass wire connector lines on electrical gear, Marklin Faivley pantagraphs, MV headlight lenses and Kadee couplers. Headlights illuminated on one end. Sides, ends, pilots, pantagraphs, electrical lines and cab window frames painted "Platinum Mist" silver. Roof, to below windows on ends, windshield wipers, window grommets, frame and trucks painted black. Insulators painted brown. Couplers painted rust. Lettered with Microscale decals and scatchbuilt ASEA nameplates. Dimensions: 6-3/4" x 1-3/8" W x 3" H (with pantagraphs extended), weight: 16 oz. Only one model available.
