Built using an Athearn FP-45 body shell and powered trucks with scratchbuilt frame and fuel tank. Based on prototype photos. Details added are Hancock and 3-chime air horns, radio antenna, exhaust stack, dynamic brake fans and grilles filled in, lift rings, brass radaitor fan housings, winterization hatch with see-through grille, sand filler lids, headlights, grab irons, upper front headlight blanked over, windshield wipers, MU cable connectors, MU hoses, coupler cut bars, front and rear handrails (Smokey Valley brass stanchions solded to brass wire), MV lenses in headlights and marker lights, air tanks and piping, air filter, fuel tank details, sand hoses on trucks. Powered by Canon can motor with flywheels.

Lower half of sides, end and nose painted orange. Roof, upper half of sides, end and nose, lower sill, handrails, grab irons, porthole window grommets, cab steps, pilots, frame, fuel tank and trucks painted black. Windshield wipers, cab window and door window frames, marker light bezels and MU hose ends painted silver. Handrail ends and end grab irons painted white. Lettered with Microscale decals with logo on panel attached below cab windows. Dimensions: 9-3/4" L x 1-3/8" W x 2-1/4" H, weight: 14 oz. Only one model available.
