Milwaukee Road EMD SD-60M Locomotive #604

The model is a fictional version of a Milwaukee Road locomotive the railroad might have had if it had survived past 1985. The model is built using a Rail Power SD-60M body shell, scratchbuilt frame and fuel tank and Athearn trucks. Details added are horn, radio antenna, see-through dynamic brake fan grille, lift rings, brass "Q-Fan" radiator fans, winterization hatch with see-through grille, sand filler lids, headlights, side blower housing, grab irons, all-weather window, handrails (Smokey Valley brass stanchions soldered to brass wire), ditch lights, MV lenses in headlights and ditch lights, MU cable connectors and cables, MU hoses, snowplow, anticlimbers, coupler cut bars, air tanks and piping, fuel tank details and constant voltage lighting unit powering headlight. Powered by a Canon can motor with flywheels.

Lower half of sides, end and nose painted orange. Roof, upper half of side, ends and nose, handrails, walkways, grab irons, pilots, frame, fuel tank and trucks painted black. Ends of handrails painted white. MU hose ends and exhaust stack painted silver, MU cable painted a pinkish color. Couplers painted rust. Lettered with Microscale decals in the "Hiawatha" scheme. Dimensions: 9-3/8" L x 1-3/8" W x 2-3/16" H, weight: 14 oz. Only one model available.
