Union Pacific EMD DD-35B Locomotive #758

The unpowered model, based on prototype photos, is a combination of an Athearn DD-40 frame, Athearn GP-35 parts and a scratchbuilt frame/walkway. The GP-35 long hoods were narrowed with flat ends and joined together with a passageway. Details added are exhaust stacks, dynamic brake and radiator fan housings, headlights (with MV lenses), lift rings and grab irons. Frame has handrails, steps, fuel fillers, fuel gauges, air tanks and piping above fuel tank.

Lower 3/4 of sides, ends and inside passageway painted Armour Yellow. Rest of model is painted Harbor Mist Gray. Trucks are painted silver. Couplers painted rust. Lettered with Microscale decals. Dimensions: 12" L x 1-3/8" W x 2-3/16" H, weight: 18 oz. Only one model available.
