SPOKANE, PORTLAND & SEATTLE STEAM POWER: The collection of SP&S steam locomotives was taken in the 1950s in locations such as Spokane, Pasco & Vancouver in Washington and Portland & Astoria in Oregon. The locomotive types included are Atlantic (4-4-2), Mogul (2-6-0), Prairie (2-6-2), Ten-Wheeler (4-6-0), Consolidation (2-8-0), Pacific (4-6-2), Mikado (2-8-2), Northern (4-8-4), Challenger (4-6-6-4) and 0-6-0 Switcher.

Almost half of the 131 photos were scanned in from original black & white medium-format negatives and are presented in a "book" form on CD-ROM with information on the locomotives. The presentation is like looking through a book on a computer. The CD-ROM works in PCs (WIN 2000/XP/Vista/7) & Macs and is self-starting. The photos can be printed out.
